Mission

Directly administered by Eyes on China, the Mission of Green in China Technology Initiative (GCTI) is to assist Green Technology Companies & other Businesses in their transfer of technology to China. Green in China’s mission is to ensure international professionals realize their personal dreams of making the global environment greener – by making China greener.

 
The GCTI mandate includes:

- Assisting companies with patented green technologies and products in transferring their technologies to China
- Protecting Intellectual Property in China
- Providing advice on legal issues mainly (but not exclusively) related to patents, licenses and royalty agreements processed in China
- Initiating contact with academic and industrial researchers with science and technology expertise of interest to the Initiative
- Facilitating the implementation of Green technologies in China in order to ensure a greener world
- Functioning as a point of reference for professionals working in the environmental protection industry in China and internationally

History

The Green in China Technology Initiative was developed in 2009, through the partnership of Eyes on China, Hodaya International, and Institute of Chinese Studies.  Green in China was designed in order to provide companies with the means to market and produce their technology in China, while ensuring that their technology will remain safeguarded.  The GCTI consists of the chief of the board, service leaders, partner representatives, and researchers as well as Chinese and international industrial experts.
